Stay up to date with everything happening at Registers of Scotland (RoS) with our monthly update.
- The Keeper’s Christmas update
- Application record re-opening
With the year drawing to a close it is time for my annual Christmas message.
I would like to thank all our customers and stakeholders for their support throughout 2020. It has been a year that none of us could have anticipated. However, despite the challenges we have faced, I believe that RoS is now in an even stronger position than we were a year ago.
Re-opening the application record
The Land Register application record and the Register of Sasines will fully re-open on 01 March 2021.
The date is important as it means those Advance Notices which were extended by the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 will expire, 10 days later, on 11 March 2021.

We are proud to continue to support Geovation Scotland. Working alongside Ordnance Survey, the accelerator programme supports Scottish-based start-ups looking to use geospatial or property data to solve problems and deliver value.
The inaugural Geovation Scotland virtual showcase took place on 10 December and saw the first sets of entrepreneurs on the programme sharing their vision with potential investors, partners and future customers. Visit the website to find out more.
